Note | According Staatblad Governor of Dutch East Indies Number 6 Stbl 90 dated February 21, 1919. this kasawasan set as nature reserve with area 0,8 ha, and until now there is no location map archive on staatblad intended.
The position of Ulu Tiangko Cave Reserve is still confusing. Some consider this Cave to be in the village of Tiangko, but some also think that it is located in the upper reaches of Tiangko village. Based on the results of inventory and identification of potential and historical search related to Ulu Tiangko Cave, it can be concluded semnetara that Ulu Tiangko Cave Nature Reserve is a collection of caves that are in Hulu Tiangko village. In this region there are several caves namely the Governor Cave, Bujang Cave, and Senggering Cave. Below the cave there is a river whose water flow is quite heavy and flows throughout the year. This river is the water source of tiangko and surrounding villages. nature reserve Ulu Tiangko Cave has a unique ecosystem because the cave contained therein form an elaborate underground cave network like a labyrinth. Such forms are susceptible to damage and if there is damage in one place it will result directly at another place. Ecologically, the Ulu Tiangko Cave Nature Reserve is a walet and bat habitat. |
