Note | Tirta Rimba Nature Park / Water Fall of 488 ha has been established by Decree of the Minister of Forestry No. 440 / Kpts-II / 1994. The process of determination was initiated by the Provincial Governor of Southeast Sulawesi with the recommendation no. Pta. 4 / I / 14 dated December 8, 1996. Followed by a letter from the Director General of Forestry (then) to the Minister of Agriculture with the number 2256 / DJ / I1978, dated July 15, 1978. Minister of Agriculture then pointed to the forest complex of Tirta Rimba / Water Fall of 500 ha. as a forest / tourist park on July 24, 1978 with Decision No. 459 / Kpts / Um / 7/1978. After the borderline was set (the minutes of the border-granting event were adopted on 24 March 1987). |

Identification | Dominated by habitat of mixed wood species such as wolves (Vitex coffasus), jambu hutan (Diospyros maritima), spinach (Intsia bijuga). Some are reforestation areas with mahogany plant species (Switenia macrophylla), sonobrit, acacia (Acacia mangium), acid (Tamarindus indica). In addition there are Wola (Vitex coffasus); Spinach (Intsia bijuga); Mahogany (Switenia macrophylla); Acacia (Acacia mangium); Acid (Tamarindus indica); Guava forest (Diospyros maritima) more search required …? |
