Note | Lasolo Bay area of approximately 81,800 ha is proposed to be designated as a natural tourism park based on KDH Regent II Kindergarten No. Recommendation. 533/4768, dated November 30, 1995. The proposing process begins with a survey of marine natural resource potentials undertaken by a team from the Directorate of Nature Conservation Directorate General of PHPA in 1989, with results indicating that the waters of Lasolo Bay, particularly around Bahulu Island, P. Labengke and Tanjung Taipa have potential reefs coral, protected marine biota and ornamental fish is high enough, aesthetic value and conservation value is quite good, and tourism potential is quite high. In 1999 based on Decree of the Minister of Forestry and Plantation No. 451 / Kpts-II / 1999, dated June 17, 1999 was designated as a conservation area with the function of natural marine tourism park. |
