Note | Adang Bay and Apar Bay is designated as a nature reserve area through the Decree of the Minister of Forestry No. 86 of 1993. In the Decree it is stated that the Adang Gulf Reserve is 62.402 Ha and Teluk Apar Nature Reserve 46,900 Ha. Determination of this nature reserve by the government not infrequently open the space of the pros and cons that led to a long debate. Based on information collected in September 2015, long before Teluk Adang and Teluk Apar were designated as nature reserves in the area, there were already settlements, transmigration settlements and even national ports. In fact, an area with the status of a nature reserve can not have any activity except conservation. |
