Locals call it by Hill Point, because the top shape is like a finger. Under Serelo Hill there is an area to tame, train and educate elephants. At least there are about 40 elephants have been domesticated in this place.
Elephant Training Center (PLG) Serelo Hill (ind: Bukit) is designated as a Nature Tourism Park based on Forestry Minister’s Decree No. 76 / Kpts-II / 2001, dated March 15, 2001, concerning the appointment of conservation areas in South Sumatra Province with an area of 210 hectares.
