|Identification||Riung Nature Reserve area is representative of dry forest ecosystem type with mixed vegetation and mangrove forest.|
The types of flora in the Riung Nature Reserve include waru (Hibiscus tiliacius), ketapang (Terminalia catappa), pecan (Aleurites molucana), kepuh (Sterculiafoetida), pandan (Pandanus tectorius), sandalwood (Santalum album), teak (Tectona grandis ), keloh (Cassia siamea), mango (Mangivera indica), acid (Tamarindus indica), sengon laut ), ampupu (Eucalyptus urophylla), as well as species of mangroves such as Rhizophora sp, Bruguiera gymnoriza, and Sonneratia sp.
