Note | In 1995, the Decree of the Minister of Forestry No. 461 / Kpts-II / 1995 on the alteration of the function of Poboya Nature Reserve of 1,000 hectares, Paneki Protected Forest covering 7,000 hectares and the VAT location of XXX in 1990 covering 100 hectares into the Great Forest Park, Forest Park (Tahura) Palu. And in 1997, the Governor’s Decree No. 522.4 / 233 / Kanhut / 1997, dated May 19, 1997 on the determination of the area of Forest Park Province of Central Sulawesi is 7128 hectares. In 2009, a Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of Palu Forest Park, Central Sulawesi Provincial Forestry Office was established based on Central Sulawesi Governor Regulation No. 05/2009 on the Organization and Working Procedure of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Central Sulawesi Provincial Office and Local Government . |

Topology&Geology |
Topography of the steeply sloped mountain slopes in the central part of the region spread from north to south. Topography of slopes slopes to the western part of the area around Kawatuna, Ngatabaru and Poboya villages. Fan-shaped and gently sloping ramps can be found around the Ngatabaru and Loru villages. The undulating hills with the narrow expanse can only be found to the east of the southern part of the region around the upstream area of the Paneki River. |

Identification | Temporary identification in this area are: Unique dry ecosystem dominated by Santalum album, Acacia (Acacia decurens) and scattered grasses and shrubs. In the Paboya region, the forest has been largely damaged and does not reflect any natural forest intact. Some of the soil orchids (Calanthe sp., Arundina bambusa, Spathoglottis sp.) Are also common. The protected forest area of Paneki is found by Andolla (Anthocephalus sp.), Bintangur (Callopyyllum sp.), Jelata (Dyera lowil) and Rau (Drancontomelon mangiferum) and Ficus sp. Location of VAT XXX growing trees is the result of replanting such as: Angsana (Pterocarpus indicus), Johar (Cassla slamea), Black wood (Diospyros celebica). The trees found are Johar (Cassia seamea), Gamal (Gliricidae maculata), Asam (Tamarindus indica), Angsana (Pterocarpus indicus), Acacia (Acacia auricauliformis), White (Melaleuca leucadendron), Javanese (Lannea grandis), Kemiri Aleuretes moluccana), Mango (Mangifera indica), Jackfruit (Arthocarpus integra), Sukun (Arthocarpus altilis), Sea Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria), Jembolan (Eugenia jembolana), Teak (Tectona grandis), Acacia (Acacia auricauliformis), Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), Randu (Ceiba petandra), Trembesi (Albisia procera), White teak (Gmelina arbórea), Eboni (Diospyros celebica), Sandalwood (Santalun álbum), Biti (Vitex gofassus), Lamtoro (Leucaena glauca), Karui (Acacia nilotica ), and others.
