1932, March 13; water vapor eruption on the south coast near Wotai. On April 16, there was an increase in activity along the gap that extended from the peak to the southeast. The incident was accompanied by an earthquake and 4 hours of ash rain which fell on Rumdai.
1968 Earthquake activities occur from 24 April to 30 June. Small shocks are felt every day. The tremor of the earthquake was accompanied by a roar in the ground. The strongest shock occurred on 3 and 4 May. The earthquake caused soil cracks along the length of the earthquake. 500 m. who crossed the villages in Rumdai Village, namely Ameth, Kokroman, Kuralele and Usliapan. Lawarkawra mountain is a strato-shaped volcano island. The active crater is marked by solfatara activities that open to the south. The volcanic cone is surrounded by the remains of older volcanoes.
