Identification | 36 species of flora scattered in coastal areas include: Myristica sp, Pmetia sp, Rhizophora sp, Terminalia catapa, Celthis latifolia and 43 species for mountainous areas, among others: Paraserianthes falcataria, Hopea papuana, Podocarpus sp, Pinus sp and others . Identification | Natural vegetation in the form of Castanopsis-dominated mountain rainforest (in the lower zone) and Nothophagus, Podocarpus, Dacrycarpus, Dacridium and Papuacedrus (in the upper apex) (Petocz, 1987). Almost all species of limited-range birds inhabit mountain forests at altitudes above 900 m asl. Four species are found only in 卢 upper mountain forests at altitudes above 1,500 m above sea level, the other three recorded only in lowland forests, while Bondol vana only live in grasslands in upland areas.
