Note | This area was previously a Nature Reserve, based on the Decree of the King Deli on December 30, 1924. Then in 1980 based on the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture no. 320 / Kpts / Um / 5/1980, dated May 9, 1980 the status was transferred to nature tourist park.Lau Debuk Nature Park consists of tropical rainforests of the mountains.
The main attraction of this area is the existence of a pool which is also a natural bathing place with hot springs containing sulfur. Close to the pool there are also wells and small boxes as a place of worship / offerings. Please note that the location of Lau Debuk-debuk is one of the largest sacred and sacred places for the Karo believer. Its adherents are called “Kalak Pemena” (Perbegu = animism). |
