Note | the history of the establishment of Lamedai Nature Reserve stems from the Letter of Director of PPA Number: 1058 / IV-i / IV / 6/1972, dated 22 August 1972 which proposes to the Governor for the lamedae-tangketada forest complex which is overgrown with ‘Kuku’ trees (pericopsis mooniana) one rare species and need to be protected. To be made Nature Reserve area. Based on this letter, the Governor of KDH Southeast Sulawesi issued a letter No. PTA / 4/1/11, dated February 16, 1974, the Minister of Agriculture issued a decree on the appointment of 500 ha of lamedae – tangketada as Nature Reserve. in 1987 the boundary activities undertaken by sub BIPHUT with the widespread results of Lamedae Nature Reserve increased to 635.15 Ha. Based on the boundary, the Minister of Forestry Decree no. 209 / KPTS-II / 1994, dated April 30, 1994 |
