Note | The time of the Dutch East Indies government, the Laiwangi Wanggameti forest group is protected by the Swapraja ZB Decree bsl 6-1-1932 No.3 and ZB bsl 6-1-1930 No.5, and ZB bsl 20-7-1930 No.9.Then the status of this forest is designated as a forest cover with the function of ‘Hydrologisch Reserve’ based on Decree of Regent Head of East Kindergarten II of East Sumba. 9 / Pemb.1 / 3, dated January 30, 1965.
Year 1983 based on Laiwangi Wanggameti National Park through Decree of Minister of Forestry no. 89 / Kpts-II / 1983, dated December 2, 1983 has been established 1. 667,962 ha of forest as permanent forest in the province of East Nusa Tenggara. In the fiscal year of 1984/1985, the Forestry Group inauguration of Laiwangi Wanggameti (RTK 50) was established by Kupang Forest Inventory and Perpetaan Sub-division in collaboration with Balai Inventory and Perpetaan Hutan Daerah VIII Denpasar with the result of the outer boundary of 125.2 Km and the definitive width 42,567, 50 Ha. The timetable of the boundary of Laiwangi Wanggameti (RTK 50) forest group at the District, Provincial and Central levels can already be completed and endorsed by the Minister of Forestry, dated 21 January 1986. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Forestry and Plantation No. 576 / Kpts-II / 1998, pointed to Laiwangi Wanggameti National Park originating entirely from RTK 50 covering 47,014 ha, but in the Laiwangi Wanggameti National Park Decree does not mention the existence of “enclave” which in fact there are 2 villages in the area of Ramuk and Katikuai. |
