Note | The Keling I nature reserve consists of three parts: the nature reserves of Keling Ia, Ib, and Ic. Keling Ia, Ib and Ic nature reserve areas have been designated as Nature Reserve since the Dutch colonial era. The appointment was based on Besluit of Dutch Governor General No. 90 dated February 21, 1919. This status was further strengthened by the Decree of the Minister of Forestry’s appointment Number SK.359 / Menhut-II / 2004 dated October 1, 2004. |

Identification | dominated by large trees and shrubs seen in contrast to its surroundings in the form of rubber plantations and teak forests. Since 2002 KSDA Central Java has been rehabilitated by planting such species as Kepuh (Sterculia foetida), Kesambi (Schleichera oleosa), Salam (Eugenia polyantha), Winong or Binong (Tetrameles nudiflora), Jrakah (Ficus superba), Benda or Bendo (Artocarpus elasticus), and Kosambi or Kesambi (Schleichera oleosa). more search required …? |
