Note	Formerly Karanggading Wildlife Reserve status and Langkat Timur Laut is a production forest with register 2 / L according to Besluit of Deli Country Kingdom on August 6, 1932 No.148 / PK and has been approved by East Coast Governor Perca Island on September 24, 1932.Then based on the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No. 811 / Kpts / Um / 11/1980 The area of Langkat Timur Laut forest / Production Forest has been converted into a nature reserve status with the function of as a Wildlife Sanctuary. And according to SK.Mentan is also defined: Karanggading forest area with an area of 6,245 Ha located in the region Deli Serdang and Northeast Forest Langkat with an area 9,520 Ha. located in Langkat District Level District. Karanggading Wildlife Reserve and Northeast Langkat area as well as functioning as a buffer or fortress from coastal abrasion, also serves as a place of life (nursery ground) as well as marine biota habitat such as fish, shrimp, crabs etc.
