Note Dolok Tinggi Raja Nature Reserve which is located in Dolok Merawa Village Dolok Subdistrict Simalungun Regency is a conservation area that has been protected since 1924 through a joint decision of the Simalungun Kings, which is poured in the form of Zeelfbestuur Besluit Decree no. 24 dated 18 April 1924 together with the conservation of other sanctuary conservation of the Batu Gajah Nature Reserve.Dolok High King Nature Reserve is located within the Sianak-anak I + II Protected Forest area. This Protected Forest area was set in 1916 and 1918 respectively. Due to the uniqueness of the Dolok Tinggi Raja Nature Reserve area, Zelfbestuur Besluit ZB decree dated April 18, 1924 Number 24 officially became a nature reserve under the name “Dolok Tinggi Raja Nature Reserve” . The elements of determination of this area to be a nature reserve are geologistik, aestetica, and botanis.

Potential sources of hot water derived from limestone deposits formed from geothermal processes containing sulfur to form hilly limestone soil terraces, covering an area of ​​35 hectares.
