The shape of the ground surface in Enggano Island is generally quite flat to the ramp, with a slightly steeper range.
In the eastern part of the island is flatter than the western part. Proportionally 63.39% of the island has sloping slopes (0-8%), 27.95% slightly sloping (8-15%) and the rest are sloping up to steep (15-40%). Based on land classification, the Enggano Island land area is dominated by kambisol soil type, litosol and alluvial. In addition, the land on Enggano Island has the texture of the plates. |

Identification | Mangrove forest dominates, especially on the beach. Mangrove vegetation typically shows a zoning pattern, this is closely related to the soil type, openness to waves, salinity, and tidal influences.
After the mangrove forest layer there is also a swamp forest found little nibung stands (Oncosperma tigillarium), Salak Hutan (Salacca sp), Rotan-rotanan (Calamus sp) and Pandan Thorn (Pandanus sp), Ara (Ficus sp) Lowland forest ecosystem reaches a height of 50 mpdl with morphology Plain slope area, with an altitude between 0 – 50 meters and a region with slopes of slopes that is between 3 – 60 meters, Plant species encountered include Merbau (Intsia bijuga), Bintangur (Callophyllum sp) , Ketapang (Terminalia katapa), Ara (Ficus sp), Matoa (Pomentia pinnata), Rengas (Gluta rangas) and Apua (Koompasia sp).
