Decree of Minister of Forestry no. 420 / Kpts-II / 1999 dated June 15, 1999 on the appointment of Kawasan Hutan in Bengkulu Province with 920,964 Ha, with an area of 13,490 Ha. Setting of Definitive Boundaries in 1995/1996. Potential Areas Potentials that are usually enjoyed when visiting the Bukit Kaba Nature Park are hot springs, cool mountain air (altitude up to 2000 mdpl), camping, active crater and inactive crater and various flora and fauna. |

Identification | The area of Bukit Kaba Nature Park is filled with high biodiversity. Flora that grows around the area include the tide (Querqus sp), Pandan Duri (Pandanus sp), Frost (Ficus sp), Rafflesia Arnoldi flower, and Carrion flower (Amorphophaullus Titanium), Kempas (Koompassia Malaccensis), Balam Palaquim gupta), Mangosteen (Garcinia spp), Laban (Vitex sp), Pelawan (Tristania sp), Bamboo (Bamboosa sp), Banana (Moses sp), Sendast (Melastoma sp), Bintagur (Caloptiyllum Pilcherrimum), Aren ( Arenga Pinnate), Areca (Areca Catecu) and various kinds of Natural Orchid, Lichen and Longevity Flower. The dominant flora at 1,000-1,400 meters above sea level are the Plate (Quercus linneata), 1,400-1,800 mdpl Umbel-umbelan (Spondias pinnata) and 1,800-2,000 Pandanus spines (Pandanus sp).
