Identification | In accordance with the ecosystem potential of an area of 25 hectares is a reforested plantation teak in 1980 and 1981, 80 hectares is a Gerhan plant in 2004 in the form of guava water (Eugenia sp)., White teak (Gmelina arborea), mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni), Jati ( Tectona grandis) and cashew nuts and the remaining 47.62 hectares of natural forest. Species of wild plants that can be found in the natural forest area of Bipolo Bnafo nature park (Mallotus sp), Taduk / Pulai (Alstonis scholaris) ‘, Hue / ampupu (Eucalyptus alba), Beringin (Ficus benyamina)’, Lontar (Borrasus flableiffer) White flowers (Eupatorium inulifolium), Nisum (Myristica teysmannii), Myrtaceae and Lauraceae famiti.

Identification | Mammals: Types of mammals found in this area are cuscus (Phalanger sp), forest cat (Felis sp), long-tailed macaque (Macaca fascicularis), wild boar (Sus sp) and civet (Paradoxurus sp). The type of deer timor (Cervus timorensis) that exist in this region according to people around the region at this time has been difficult to find in the area.
Reptiles: The reptilian species present in kawsan include: lizard timor (varanus timorensis) and sanca timor (Phyton timorensis). Other species are estuarine crocodiles (Crocodylus porosus) that can be found around the Oenino springs and also in the mangroves. Birds: Bird species are the most common animals in this region, especially the Columbidae family, for example as tekukur (Streptopelia chinensis) and knee (Geopelia striata) commonly encountered along the way, especially during the day. Other species that are easy to find are from the Estrildinae family is a spoon (Lonchura malacea), emprit (Munia sp), gelatik (Padda orizifora) and quail (Turnix sp) can be found in agricultural areas within the region. In natural forest areas koakiu bird species (Phylemon inornatus) and (Phylemon buceroides) are found mainly in tree-level habitus because it is easily recognized by its distinctive voice. The partially crooked birds still present in the Bipolo nature park are yellow chest pitch (Trichoglosus haemotodus) and parrot timor (Apromictus jonguilaceus). Both species are commonly found in forest plants from the Moraceae family while the yellow-crested cockatoos (Cacatua sulphurea) according to communities around the area have not been recovered since several years ago. more search required …? |
