Note	the protection of the Batu Gajah area is intended as a protection against the nature monument which has been established since the Dutch era as a reserve in Zelfbestuur Besluit 1924 No. 24, dated April 16, 1924.Potentials that exist in this location, in its development is now the potential of Cultural Heritage, because the more important to be protected is the sculpture of historical heritage inscriptions that have a historical value of religion is very high. The historic objects referred to in the form of elephant-shaped rocks, frogs, reptiles (tapanuli language meaning snake), and also rock-shaped mortar and rock-shaped corals.
